Well we finally have a definite date for opening... Sunday 11th July! This Sunday! We have found a building... just a small room over a hairdressers. It is not in the most ideal position... its a little bit out of the city, but not so far that people cant get there. Its also on a the main road, so that is a bonus. Dad is busy getting banners made up and things organized for the opening. We have an interpreter named Eddie, and have already seen a few people saved - Dad has prayed with a couple, and just today prayed for the guy doing our banner, and he got healed! Hopefully we have people come out! Pray for our first service!
We have nearly found a car ... we are looking at two Pajero's, and Dad is taking them to an Aussie mechanic today to have him check them out. We have looked at so many cars and taken so many for test drives it is driving me nuts! I really hope we buy one of these cars because I will go mad if we have to look at another!
We have made good friends with the couple that live across the road from us, Claudia and Josh. They are missionaries as well, although not at a specific church - their ministry is to train people for ministry in churches all around Dili. They are Brazilian, but also speak the native language, so they are helping us learn a little bit. I think Dad is hoping to get lessons so we can learn properly. Claudia is also helping Mum find good places to shop around the city.
Well that's about all! Will report on our fist service!

GO PAJERO!!!!!

No news on the job front! The visa I have right now wont let me work here, so if I want to get a job I have to change it. But I cant speak the language, so there is really not much I can do. We are kind of keeping our ears open for any jobs going but I haven't actually put my resume in anywhere. We'll have to see!
